Undergraduate Computer Science Trends in North Carolina: Opportunities and Challenges Associated with Broadening Participation, Under Review

While the number of students participating in CS is increasing, the number among underrepresented groups is not increasing at a similar rate. Our results hold implications for the use and appropriateness of IPEDS data, how minority-serving institutions can and do enable inclusion and what issues continue to challenge broadening participation in computing.
